Miranda Fotis, Law Clerk

Miranda FotisMiranda Fotis is a Law Clerk at Asonye & Associates. She is a second-year law student at the DePaul University College of Law. During the Fall Semester, Miranda is a student-attorney for the Asylum and Immigration Clinic, where she works with various clients on asylum petitions, work authorization, and other family-based immigration processes. She in continuing this work during the current semester as well. Miranda is also a member of Phi Alpha Delta, the leading co-ed professional legal fraternity promoting integrity, professional competence, liberty and equal justice under law.
Prior to attending law school, Miranda received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Justice Systems from Truman State University in 2020. While in undergrad, she was exposed to multiple immigrant populations in the surrounding community. This inspired her to pursue immigration law and policy while in law school. She currently assists all staff members at Asonye & Associates with immigration processes, legal drafting and research, and administrative duties.
