Carli Evans, Law Clerk

CarliCarli L. Evans is a Law Clerk at Asonye & Associates. She is a third-year law student at the DePaul University College of Law. During second year of law school, Carli served as a student-attorney in the DePaul Asylum and Immigration Clinic. Carli is currently the Secretary of the Society for Asylum and Immigration Law, and has previously served as First-Year Representative and Vice President. Carli is also a member of Phi Alpha Delta, the leading co-ed professional legal fraternity promoting integrity, professional competence, liberty and equal justice under law. In connection with her studies, Carli has received a CALI Award for excellent achievement for DePaul University College of Law's course in Mediation.

Prior to attending law school, Carli received her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Alabama in 2017. While Carli was studying abroad in Santiago, Chile in spring of 2016, she discovered her passion for immigration law and legal advocacy. She currently assists all staff members at Asonye & Associates with immigration processes, legal drafting and research, and administrative duties.

Carli is fluent in both oral and written Spanish.
